Elizabeth J. Farrell

Elizabeth J. Farrell, CPA, CA is a Professor at the Schulich School of Business. In recognition of her excellence in teaching she was selected as the winner of the 1999, 2003 and 2010 Seymour Schulich Award for Teaching Excellence and nominated for the award in 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2012. Elizabeth was the winner of the John Peace part-time teaching award in 2002 and 2012.  Elizabeth was assistant coordinator for the School of Accountancy.   She has taught executive development courses for the Schulich School of Business, professional development courses for CPA Ontario and CPA firms. Elizabeth is a co-author of Intermediate Financial Accounting.

Her publications also include an accounting case analysis software package, study guides, IFRS Property, Plant and Equipment, Intangible Assets and Impairment and ASPE: A Comparison to IFRS, professional development courses, and a variety of case material. Elizabeth was a team leader and a marker for the UFE for a number of years. Elizabeth has been an instructor for PASS for a number of years. She has also been on a number of not-for-profit boards for the past twenty years.
