Course Venues

PASS offers courses through 2 venues:

1. Live Online
2. Video Online

Live Online

The live online courses are offered electronically; students can therefore take the courses from any location.  All they need is a computer.

The live online courses will be held on specific dates. Students will log-in using the internet to access a web site and will follow the live sessions on their computers; the sessions are conducted by a live instructor.  Students will have the opportunity to ask questions orally or using a chat box as the sessions are conducted in real-time.

The sessions will be recorded and students will have the ability to access the recording at any time after the session, allowing students who missed a session or want to review a point, to go back and access the session.

All sessions are recorded.  Therefore students in the live online classes who miss a session or want to review a session, can view a recording of the session at any time that is convenient.

Video Online

PASS has been teaching candidates how to pass the CA/CPA exams for over 25 years. Our experience has taught us that students learn best in class or live online. In the past, the vast majority of our students chose the live online option, as nothing can replace a live instructor who can answer questions, interact with students and clear up misunderstandings. This applies when teaching technical and when teaching case writing.

Therefore, our recommended options for the various courses we offer are the live online option. For those students who cannot make the live online sessions (due to scheduling issues or work related conflicts etc.), we offer an online video option, whereby students can watch videos of all of the sessions rather than attend sessions live.

Enjoy Flexibility

To offer full flexibility, student who take a PASS course that is being offered both video online and live online can enjoy the best of both worlds by mixing and matching.  For example, students can sign up for the live online format –and then watch a video to make up for session they miss.
